Job Summary: Foodie Fit is a small Las Vegas based meal prep company looking for and experienced plant manager to help us scale our operation to meet the demands of our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our food manufacturing operations. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality control standards, and optimizing plant performance. This is a key leadership role that requires strong management skills and expertise in lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet business demands
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, maintenance, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and streamline processes
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and ensure timely delivery of products
- Manage and develop a team of production supervisors and operators to achieve production goals
- Foster a culture of quality by working with the QA specialist to implement effective quality assurance measures
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology
Skills:
- Proven experience in plant management or a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex production schedules
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams toward achieving goals
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of quality control standards and techniques to ensure product excellence
